The Bach Society of Saint Louis is proud to offer a free education concert tailored to families, which will focus on Bach and Baroque performance practice.  Bach specialist David Gordon will serve as a narrator and teacher, and India-born soprano, Sherezade Panthaki, will sing several musical examples in this style, accompanied by Sandra Geary and Bach Society Concertmaster, Lenora Marya-Anop.  Ms. Panthaki will also discuss her Indian heritage and how it impacted her chosen career path, giving some insight into Indian culture while also displaying how music continues to break barriers and can overcome societal differences.

The Bach Society is pleased to collaborate for the first time with Bal Vihar Indian Cultural School, Sangeetha St. Louis and Bonhomme Community Concert Series for this event.
